15 Nov The snowballing adoption rates of SaaS cloud computing around the world.
Since the concept of cloud computing went mainstream acceptance of it as a viable business solution has been steadily growing. The rate of acceptance of solutions such as SaaS ERP is snowballing as more and more CIOs are jumping on board.
To offer some global perspective, a March article at CIO.com published exclusive survey results that showed 71 percent of US companies said they planned to increase spending on cloud services in the coming twelve months.
Cut to a few months later as 2012 is drawing to a close, an article at zdnet.com examines a Tecala survey concluding that 62 percent of CIOs surveyed in Australia say they plan to increase spending on cloud computing over the next year, even with 25 percent of their overall computing already taking place in the cloud.
As more and more CFOs recognize the cost-saving benefits, adoption will likely be growing at an even faster rate very soon.
