23 Nov Sales Forecasting and MRP in Dynamics GP
Dynamics GP includes a robust manufacturing suite that you can configure to work with you business. It includes the basics, like bills of material and manufacturing orders. But it also has additional functionality that includes MRP and Sales Forecasting.
The Sales Forecasting module allows you to enter multiple sales forecasts for your products. You can select different timeframes for entering your forecasts, and span multiple years. You can maintain several different forecasts, and combine multiple forecasts into one if you want.
The sales forecasts can be used as a demand component for the MRP calculations. This can be used whether your sales forecast includes made items or purchased items.
