Dynamics SL 2015 Released by Microsoft

Change has become the defining characteristic of doing business over the last ten years .  Because change happens in our businesses so fast these days, agility and flexibility have become more valuable in all aspects of work.  This is especially true for a business management software solution.  Microsoft Dynamics SL for example, is a highly scalable and flexible solution, and Dynamics SL 2015, the latest version of the powerful ERP software, was recently released by Microsoft.

Dynamics SL 2015 is easy to implement and gives customers the power of choice for how it is deployed with web enabled enhancements for better performance in the cloud and on mobile devices.

Here is a brief overview of the main enhancements in Dynamics SL 2015.

Web Apps

In 2011 Web Apps replaced the SL Business Portal for accessing the system over the web. Microsoft continues to add functionality to SL via web apps. These apps include Project Time Entry, Project Expense, Project T&E Approval, and Project Analyst.

Project Accounting

Feature enhancements for project accounting inside SL 2015 also include improved multi-currency and multi-company functionality to help streamline reporting, billing and other financial processes for professional services and project based organizations.

The Dynamics SL 2015  enhanced reporting features streamline the reporting process with improved cloud access, plus the creation of refreshable Excel and pivot tables available from your web browser.  Plus SL 2015 comes with unlimited reporting formats, which is new for the software.

RoseASP adds to the Dynamics SL cloud capabilities by delivering SL via its Dynamics ERP hosting environment with unparalleled service, reliability, security and support for regulatory compliance.

There are too many enhancements to talk about in a blogpost, but if you’d like to learn more about the functionality in Dynamics SL 2015, feel free to download a copy of the Microsoft Dynamics SL 2015 Capabilities Guide.
