Dynamics GP 2013 Web Client Phase One Functionality

The biggest news by far with the release of Dynamics GP 2013 is the new Web Client. I know, by working with Microsoft, that the technology behind the client is solid and that the user experience will be very good.

Not all Dynamics GP functionality will be available in the web client initially. The web client functionality will be rolled out in phases.

This functionality will certainly make it worthwhile for some of your users to use the web client.

According to Pam Misealik at Microsoft, “The next phase of the web client will include Human Resources and Payroll as a functional series and is planned for the March/April timeframe.”

If you need manufacturing and project accounting, you’ll be waiting for awhile.
