Brilliantly Simple and Effective

My Dad recently sent me a slide presentation including several pictures from the Normandy Invasion on June 6, 1944. One of the pictures showed a line of ships steaming across the English Channel with one large balloon each, tethered to each ship:

“What the heck is the point of that?” I asked my Dad. His reply: “They’re barrage balloons. Barrage balloons were used over London and over ships on D Day. They forced enemy planes to fly higher, and made a better target for antiaircraft.”

A brilliantly simple and effective solution.

We work every day with complex systems and business processes. Sometimes the simple solution is the most effective. Check out myGPcloud for simple and effective.
