Advanced Cross-Ship with Returns Management in Dynamics GP

Dynamics GP includes a powerful returns management module. There are various types of return workflows that can be managed with the system.

One of the more complicated is the cross-ship type of return. These are the basic steps in the workflow:

  • Customer requests a return
  • An RMA is prepared
  • A replacement part is sent to the customer
  • The defective part is received from the customer
  • An invoice is sent to the customer if the defective unit is not received or additional charges are required
